Since its premiere in 1988, Our Country’s Good has become one of the best-loved and most studied plays. A brilliant story about the redemptive power of theatre it is perfect for students. Here are ways in which we can help you make the most of the play.

Inset Day

Please contact us if you are interested in a day with Max Stafford-Clark looking at the story behind the play, and bringing it to the stage. These have been popular and successful recently and we are open to arranging another.

Workshops

For groups of up to around 20 students, our popular 2-hour workshops explore Our Country’s Good, and the rehearsal techniques that Max Stafford-Clark uses in bringing the play to the stage.

A workshop costs £150 plus travel expenses. We highly recommend booking a workshop during the week in which the show is in your area (see tour dates): Not only will you save money, we will also be more able to involve actors from the production.

Post show discussions

Following the first performance at every venue (except for Bolton and London, when it will be a different night – watch this space), stay back for a free Q & A with the cast, and either the director or associate director.

Our bookshop is currently closed whilst we’re unable to access our stock. We hope to be back up and running again soon.
