For the last 30 years Stockroom/Out of Joint has championed writers and social justice. Our productions have toured around the world to audiences of hundreds of thousands of people.

 

Over the last few years the organisation has gone through significant changes as well as piloting a new business model that fore fronted salaried writers. All this has happened as the landscape of midscale touring has become increasingly challenging. In 2023 we also left Arts Council England’s core funding portfolio.

 

During 2024 staff and trustees have been exploring several strategic partnerships to protect our remaining resources, legacy and charitable objectives. While we complete this challenge we have ceased all other activities. The trustees acknowledge all efforts, achievements and support so far with huge gratitude.
